"As a recipient of the Chancellor’s Club Scholarship, I would like to express my appreciation for the tremendous support you have provided me through this scholarship. Having this scholarship has allowed me to leave my hometown of Ottawa to come to the University of Calgary, where I am currently in the Neuroscience (Honours) program. During my time here, I have become involved with the Hotchkiss Brain Institute, where I have conducted research on biomarkers of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy."

I studied biomedical engineering – a field that combines medicine and engineering to help others live longer, healthier, happier lives. Now, I’m a researcher developing new ways to detect and treat breast cancer. Our programs are designed to help you take advantage of the endless possibilities engineering offers.
