Specializations

Biomedical specialization
If you have a passion for combining technology, problem solving and medicine to improve the lives of others, this specialization is for you. Taken in combination with a major in chemical, civil, electrical, geomatics, mechanical or software engineering, you can learn about biomechanics, biopharmaceuticals, tissue engineering and so much more. This option is ideal if you are considering pursuing graduate studies, medical school, law school or business school.

Biomedical specialization
The first of its kind in Canada, this specialization teaches you how to avoid or minimize the environmental impacts of industrial energy operations. It is combined with a major in chemical, civil, electrical, geomatics or mechanical engineering. If you are eager to find ways to protect the environment while meeting our global energy needs, this specialization is for you.

What does it mean to study at Schulich School of Engineering?

As we begin this new phase of our journey, the Community Report celebrates what we have been able to achieve together so far. It is our first report on the refined goals we set out in our energized Eyes High strategy, released in April 2017.
