- The Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) and AHS Calgary Zone are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Elijah Dixon, MD, as interim head of the Department of Surgery and Dr. Christopher ‘Chip’ Doig, MD, as interim head of the Department of Critical Care Medicine. Both appointments took effect on Nov.1.
- Excavation work and asphalt repairs near the new Calgary Cancer Centre will resume later this week, likely impacting traffic flow along 29 St. NW. The work is expected to take place between Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6 a.m. until Monday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. The entrance/exit at the intersection of 16 Ave. NW and West Campus Blvd. NW may be a better alternative during this time.
