Dear community members and elementary and secondary music, drama, and dance teachers:
The UCalgary's School of Creative and Performing Arts is proud to host the 6th annual Elementary and Secondary Music, Drama, and Dance Teachers' Conference. There will be music, drama and dance sessions for elementary and secondary teachers, including choral and instrumental sessions.
When: Friday, May 18, 2018 (District wide non-instructional day) Where: Craigie Hall and Rozsa Centre at the University of Calgary Cost: $65 general, $30 students (includes lunch and sessions) Who: All music, drama, and dance teachers, fine arts education students, and community artists, teachers, and performers.
The conference website and registration will launch in March 2018. You can register until Sunday, May 13. Attendees can also choose to register in-person between 8:15-9 a.m. on May 18 with exact cash or a cheque made out to the University of Calgary.
Online session registration will open in April 2018 and will remain open until Sunday, May 13. All registrants will receive an email when the session registration opens. You can choose to participate exclusively in music, drama or dance; or in a combination of sessions from all disciplines.

CALL FOR PRESENTERS
Are you interested in presenting a session at the 2018 SCPA Teachers' Conference? Apply by Feb. 15 to lead a session in an area of your expertise, by providing our committee members with the following information:
Your first and last name
Institute, school or theatre company affiliation (optional)
Short bio (60-80 words max.)
Description of session activity (80-120 words max.)
Length of session (75 minutes, or 150 minutes)
Room requirements (studio or classroom, audio/visual equipment)
Attendance requirements (minimum and maximum capacity)
Availability (morning, afternoon)
Target audience (specialists, non-specialists, or both)
