Campus Mental Health Strategy - Strength and Needs Assessment
The Teaching and Learning Subcommittee of the university's Campus Mental Health Strategy is conducting a survey to assess mental health and well being, stress, and how teaching, learning and supervisory experiences support or inhibit your mental health. The assessment takes 20-30 minutes; those who complete the assessment will receive a $10 e-gift card from Everything Card. Access the assessment.

GRADpost will be sent out every second week during the remainder of the Spring and Summer terms. The next edition of GRADpost will come out in two weeks on July 9, 2020.

Summer 2020 Payment Plans Open to All Graduate Students
In response to the COVID pandemic, the university is opening eligibility for payment plans to all graduate students for Spring/Summer 2020 tuition. Payment plan applications must be received by 4:30 pm MST on July 24, 2020 for the Summer term. Application forms are available on theFGS COVID page.
Federal Emergency Funding for Graduate Students
Students eligible for the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) will receive $1,250/month from May to August. Tri-Council funding recipients may be eligible for an extension to expiring scholarships and/or a supplement to existing federal research grants. Receiving CESB does not currently impact students' funding or scholarship payments. Details of the application process are available here.
Expanded Research Designations for Graduate Students
The ExpandedResearch Designation (ERD) enables some time-sensitive research to continue that did not meet the Critical Research criteria. Graduate students who cannot make adequate progress without access to crucial research and creative spaces on campus or in the field or community may be approved for an ERD. Graduate students interested in having ERD status should communicate with their supervisors, and must be approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Learn more.
