Student Services Fee ($450 full-time, $150 part-time) Effective Fall 2019, all students will see a Student Services Fee in their account. This is not a new fee, it’s been in place since 2010 and covers a number of services provided to UCalgary students including: the digital infrastructure for the student centre, registering in courses, transcripts to advising, academic supports, careers advice, and wellness supports etc. During a recent audit, UCalgary determined that some students, mostly off-site undergraduate and graduate students, were not properly assessed the required Student Service Fee. There will be no retro-collection of fees from prior years. However, beginning this fall (September 2019), students will have this fee included in the required payment section of their statements ($450 annually for full-time graduate students and $150 part time).
