Sept. 25 - Tuition and fee payment deadline
Sept. 25 - Thesis-based degrees: last day to submit required forms to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and thesis to The Vault to be eligible for Fall Convocation and cancel Fall registration
Oct. 12 - Thanksgiving Day - university closed
Nov. 9-13 - Term Break 
Nov. 11 - Remembrance Day - university closed
Nov. 13 - Fall Convocation 2020

PhD students who have a successful candidacy examination between Sept. 1 up to and including Dec. 31 are eligible to have their tuition fees reduced to a continuing rate in Winter term 2021.

Supporting Students in Isolation: Volunteers Needed 
The Graduate College is working with FGS to assist incoming students required to self-isolate, by providing a friendly virtual face and voice to connect with incoming students. Interested in being a buddy to an incoming student? Learn more or contact Daranne Harris, or sign up as a volunteer. Open to all UCalgary students. 
Call for Volunteer Coordinators - Let's Talk Science
Build a great resume and use your passion for science to inspire younger students. Let's Talk Science is a student-driven not-for-profit agency showcasing the wonder of STEM through engaging, hands-on events. We need a Keynote Events Coordinator, a Special Events Coordinator, a Vice-Executive Coordinator, a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, and an Executive Coordinator. Learn more or contact Dean Lang.
