Contactless pickup is available in the foyer of the Taylor Family Digital Library (TFDL) for the parts of the collection not already available online.
Libraries and Cultural Resources have opened up a limited number (15) of study spaces in the Taylor Family Digital Library for graduate students only. Bookings are in four (4) hour blocks and students can book two blocks back to back to get in a full day of study. The space is located on the 2nd floor of the TFDL in our Quiet Study Room. There are limited plugins in this room. If you intend to use your laptop please bring it fully charged. For graduate specific study spaces, book here. Otherwise you can book general computer and study spaces on the 1st and 2nd floor.
Online support is continuing. Since classes moved online in March, librarians have assisted 5,500 people through online chat — three times the normal volume — and 1,150 by email.
Field of Studies (FoS) students will continue to have priority access to library resources. Temporary accommodations, which have now been extended to December 31, 2020, can be found here. The accommodations are especially relevant if a student requires materials that do not belong to the University of Calgary’s collections.
