- Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Chan, MD, who has been appointed by the Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) and Alberta Health Services Cancer Care Alberta as the director of the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute. Read more.

- Drs. Craig Jenne, PhD, and Doug Mahoney, PhD, will share their insights on vaccination during a virtual event hosted by the Calgary Public Library. They will discuss the different types of vaccines and what to expect as the COVID-19 vaccines roll out. Read more.
- The seventh annual Office of Health and Medical Education Scholarship symposium is going virtual this year. The showcase of medical education research and innovation takes place Feb. 18. Read more.
- The Building the Equity Bridge Symposium continues this week. Hosted by the Office of Professionalism, Equity and Diversity, it’s a virtual symposium open to all learners, faculty and staff in the CSM, the UCalgary community and others who are interested.
