Federation of Medical Women of Canada 2024 Educational Conference and AGM

Medical students, residents, and physicians who are current FMWC members are invited to submit abstract submissions for the poster session – the deadline is Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

Pediatric Hospital Medicine Recognition Awards

Congratulations to all the recipients of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) Recognition Awards created by their Community and Culture Committee! The award recipients were announced at the PHM Retreat dinner on June 13, 2024.

• Best Helper -– Person who is always there to lend a hand and/or take a shift if needed – Dr. Theresa Wu
• Congeniality -– Person that embodies the spirit of our section best for you, always friendly and fun to meet up with – Dr. Gemma Vomiero
• Rookie of the Year – Most impactful Staff in first 3 years of their PHM career – Dr. Chris Novak
• Still Got It Award – for the person who has been part of the section “for a while” and still is working on it – Dr. Michelle Bailey
