Celebrate World Gratitude Day! Gratitude has been described as a close relative of joy, one that serves to bond us to others. To celebrate World Gratitude Day on Saturday, September 21, 2024, take a step beyond merely experiencing gratitude by expressing it to some of your colleagues. See Giving Thanks at Work: An HBR Guide to learn about the benefits for both giver and recipient; it has also been shown to improve the functioning of organizations, so there may be a trickle-down benefit to our patients and families. |
|
Think of 3 people who have had a positive impact on you / your career, whether that was a small act of kindness, an ongoing role of support, or anything in between.
Send them an email or even better, a hand-written card. Focus on telling them why they had that much impact on you!

Department Head Feedback
Message from Dr. Antonia Stang
As many of you know, I am approaching the half-way point in my term as Department Head.
The CSM has just introduced a way for Department Heads to receive feedback on their performance from Department members at the half-way point of their term.
My hope is this will give me direction on how to improve as Department Head, and how to ensure the rest of my term meets the needs of the Department and the CSM.
