Final Academic Half-Day Celebration The General Pediatrics program recently celebrated the final academic half day of the academic year and its graduates Dr. Alyse Schacter, Dr. Chika Olijo, Dr. Lana Rothfels, Dr. Mackenzie Gault, and Dr. Tara Evans-Atkinson. Despite the rainy weather, we successfully held our Welcome BBQ for the new R1 Residents indoors, combining it with the Final Academic Half-Day Celebration! |

This symposium provides a great opportunity for young researchers to share the amazing summer research projects they have been working on! The ACHRITA (Alberta Children's Hospital Research Institute Trainee Association) organizing committee is seeking graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and clinical fellows to review abstracts and serve as judges. Judges evaluate student presentations during dedicated sessions:
- 9:20 – 10:50 AM – Oral Presentations
- 12:05 – 2:15 PM – Poster Presentations
- 2:15 – 3:45 PM – Elevator Pitch Presentations
Register here to serve as a reviewer and/or judge Judges are not required to attend the entire symposium – of course, we would be pleased if you do wish to attend.
