Announcement: U of C login required for new Competency by Design platform
The University of Calgary has announced the purchase of a new IT platform to support Competence by Design. This fall, MedSIS 3C will replace MAINPORT with the goal of making it easier to complete EPAs, narratives and evaluations online.
In order to use the new platform, preceptor physicians will be required to login to the system with their University of Calgary IT account credentials*. These are the same credentials that you use for U of C Single Sign On to access UCalgary email, IRISS, etc. If you know your UCIT Single Sign On credentials, no further action is needed. If you think you have an active UCIT account and UCalgary email but can’t remember your login email or password, please reach out to UService IT Support at 403.210.9300. Passwords can also be reset at https://password.ucalgary.ca/. If you do not have an active UCIT account, please register and activate your UCIT account at https://itregport.ucalgary.ca/. This step will require your UCID – if you do not know it, please contact UService IT Support at 403.210.9300. If you have never had any affiliation with the University of Calgary and do not have a UCID, additional information will be communicated within the coming months. This will affect all physicians that work with residents. We are expecting to go live this fall. Please login to your UCalgary account to ensure you have access so you are ready for this transition. |
