Your thesis, three minutes, one slide - registration now open for UCalgary's 3 Minute Thesis Competition!

The 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) is an internationally recognized research communication competition. Participants have three minutes to deliver a compelling presentation on their thesis research for a general audience using a single, static slide.

Sign up for this opportunity to practice your presentation skills, and possibly win cash prizes in the process. If you are nearing the end of your degree, take this time to share your research results with the UCalgary community and broader Calgary community.

Artificial intelligence apps, such as ChatGPT, can be part of our educational toolbox just as dictionaries, calculators, and web searches are. Thinking of artificial intelligence apps as another tool that students can use to ethically demonstrate their knowledge and learning will emphasize learning as a process not a product.
