ESSENTIAL READING
Thesis-based students: take your presentation skills to the next level!
Whether you're new to your thesis-based program or well underway in your research, developing strong presentation skills is essential to moving your career forward. Sign up for the  3 Minute Thesis (3MT)  competition to hone your public speaking skills and get valuable one-on-one coaching. 

Read about previous 3MT Finalist Chantelle Anderson here, and how 3MT helped her build skills and confidence to grow her business.
 
Once you sign up you will be enrolled in a D2L module and given access to online recordings of workshops, options for feedback sessions, and other resources. Spots are available in the final workshop (Feb. 24) on creating effective slides.

Continuing Rates:

CONTINUING RATES FOR WINTER 2023
PhD students admitted Winter 2020 or earlier, who have a successful candidacy examination between Jan. 1, 2023 up to and including Apr. 30, 2023 are eligible to have their tuition fees reduced to a continuing rate in Spring term 2023.

  • SSHRC Impact - TALENT Award, Recognizes outstanding achievement by a current SSHRC doctoral or postdoctoral fellowship or scholarship award holder. Contact your program. 
  • Graduate Award Competition, The GAC competition is closed. All applications have been received from the programs and will be reviewed by the committee. Please see our website for the expected schedule results.
