CSM Social

The CSM Social is back! This is happening on Friday, May 13 at 3pm in the HRIC Atrium.

All students and faculty are welcome.

Field of Study and Thesis Oral Exams

The Graduate Science Education Boardroom (HSC G344) is booked by your GPA for all In-person and hybrid Thesis or Field of Study examinations, unless there are conflicting exam times. If the GSE Boardroom is not available, you will need to request a room through Room Bookings ([email protected]).

If two or more people plan to attend in person, they will be at the same location and the Neutral Chair will also be in the room with them. (You can check with your GPA for GSE Boardroom availability.)

New CSM Funding Policy

The new CSM Funding Policy will be effective on September 2022.

Meetings with your GPA

If you are interested in setting up an advising appointment with your program GPA, we now have advising hours! The GSE office is open Mondays-Fridays 8:30 am -4:30 pm. We ask that you contact your individual GPA if you are planning to stop in and see them outside of their advising hours.

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships

Support world-class doctoral students who demonstrate a high standard of scholarly achievement and exemplary leadership. Eligible applicants must first submit a Preliminary Assessment Form (PAF) available May 18 Deadline to submit PAF: June 13

GSE Health and Wellness Resource Hub

The Graduate Science Education office values the health and wellness of all students. As a part of the Campus Mental Health Strategy, this new webpage contains a list of internal and external health and wellness resources to support your journey through graduate school.

Join us for an introductory event with Darryl Brass Jr. and Linda Brass.
Darryl and Linda run a Two-Spirit inclusive lodge and practice inclusivity with all folks who seek support and/or ceremony through their lodge.
We welcome Linda and Darryl to the University of Calgary to meet together with our Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer students and faculty in a good way.
