Required Training for Faculty and Staff

Starting on October 1, 2024, UCalgary will be launching annual required cybersecurity and privacy awareness training for all faculty and staff, as well as annual required research security training for faculty and staff who perform and/or support research. Graduate assistants will be required to complete this training starting in January 2025. Faculty and staff will receive automatic course registration emails and must complete the required courses within 45 days.

Diagnosis and Treatment of Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder in Children and Youth: A Workshop for Pediatricians and Mental Health Therapists

Friday, October 4, 2024 | 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Location: Blue Room at the University of Calgary

The Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research & Education has developed this workshop in partnership with the Tourette OCD Alberta Network, a registered charity. This workshop is approved by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) for continuing professional development credits. The workshop will feature three experts in the treatment of these conditions, child psychiatrists Dr. Paul Arnold and Dr. Iliana Ortega, and psychologist Dr. Felicity Sapp.

Facilitators: Dr. Todd Hill, Dr. Susan Kuhn & Dr. Ward Flemons

Registration is limited to 24 participants – register early
