What role does subversive activism play in addressing gender discrimination? Engage with Dr. Jessica Shaw, assistant professor with the Faculty of Social Work, as she discusses why some social activists choose to work outside of legal and medical systems in order to advance human rights globally.

How can we improve gender equality in politics? Join Dr. Susan Franceschet, professor of political science, as she explains why some countries are seeing big gains in women’s political representation while other countries continue to see few women in public office.
