Alumni Exhibition 2019

To celebrate the many achievements of our over 2900 alumni,
the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape announces
our first annual alumni exhibition.

The exhibition will run in August/September, with a public reception on September 6, 2019 as part of the Alumni Weekend celebrations (Sept 5–7, 2019). The exhibition will be mounted in the 2,500 s.f. gallery of the City Building Design Lab, our new downtown satellite location.

We want to showcase the broad spectrum of alumni achievement by exhibiting work of all types from all programs and all years. Our goal is to display one representative project from as many graduates as possible.

To participate, here’s what you need to do:
  1. JUNE 23: Tell us you’re interested.

    • Email [email protected] with the subject line “Alumni Exhibition 2019” and let us know you’re interested.
    • Please include your name, degree, year of graduation, and a short description of the project you want to exhibit. 
    • If you’d like to include a model or physical prototype instead of an image board, include that in your email as well (with a photo and dimensions if possible). 

  2. JULY 15: Submit your content.

    • Biography (50 words)
    • Headshot
    • A size A1, vertically-oriented, high-resolution PDF with images, drawings and text of a recent project or piece of work.
    • Signed release forms (to be sent to you at a later date)
    • An Instagram contest will be part of the exhibition. Winner will be announced at Alumni Weekend and over social media. If you’d like to participate:

      • In addition to your PDF, include a jpeg of your most Instaworthy image
      • Instagram handle

  3. SEPTEMBER 6 – Attend the opening reception and join alumni, faculty, students and the community for alumni weekend celebrations (details to follow).
