Science in the Cinema Presents:
The Aviator

Hosted by the University of Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine, Science in the Cinema brings together science and popular culture in a fun and engaging way.

On Wednesday, January 29 the Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research & Education, will present The Aviator. Following the movie, a panel from the Mathison Centre and the Alberta Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation will discuss OCD as a severe condition and what it’s like to live with the illness.

About the film:
The Aviator depicts the life of Howard Hughes as he becomes a successful film producer and an aviation magnate while simultaneously growing more unstable due to severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
