Science in the Cinema presents Big Hero 6

Hosted by the University of Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine (CSM), Science in the Cinema brings together science and popular culture in a fun and engaging way.

Save the date for Disney's Big Hero 6! This beloved animated film tells the story of Hiro Hamada, a young robotics prodigy, and Baymax, his late brother Tadashi's healthcare-provider robot. When a turn of events throws Hiro into the middle of a dangerous plot, he upgrades Baymax and transforms a group of friends into a band of high-tech heroes.

Following the film, McCaig Institute researchers will host a discussion and Q&A on innovations and developments in Alberta's medical device sector.
