SPP Forum: Canadian Climate Policy Partnership (C2P2): Understanding the Complexities of Canadian Climate Policy

This installment of the series is an informative discussion with Dr. Jennifer Winter, Professor, School of Public Policy, University of Calgary; and Departmental Science Advisor at Environment and Climate Change Canada. This event is titled Canadian Climate Policy Partnership (C2P2): Understanding the Complexities of Canadian Climate Policy.
The Canadian Climate Policy Partnership (C2P2), led by Dr. Jennifer Winter, provides publicly accessible information on Canadian climate policies, supporting effective strategies to adapt and mitigate climate change, improving resilience, and helping Canada meet its net-zero emissions target. C2P2 brings together Canadian academics from different disciplines, policy-makers, and policy-shapers to create a "one-stop" database and digital platform on the climate commitments, targets, policies, and investments from different orders of government in Canada.
This discussion will focus on improved understanding of the state of climate policy in Canada, and how the C2P2 project reduces the burden of mitigating and adapting to climate change and improves research and policy capacity in meeting Canada's climate goals.
