On November 26, the Office of the Vice-Provost (Indigenous Engagement) will commemorate eight years since launching ii’ taa’poh’to’p, the University of Calgary's Indigenous Strategy. To celebrate, we invite students, faculty, leadership and community partners to join us for the 2025 ii' taa'poh'to'p Journey Update: Empowerment from the Circle.
Hosted by Dr. Michael Hart Vice-Provost (Indigenous Engagement), the event will include:
- Four stories offered by UCalgary staff and faculty in support of and in alignment with our visionary circles: Ways of Knowing, Ways of Doing, Ways of Connecting and Ways of Being.
- Campus highlights from the past year, showcasing our continued journey towards reconciliation.
- A keynote address from Niigaanwewidam Sinclair.
Please join us in celebrating our collective journey in working together in an inclusive circle of relatives as we take up our responsibility of reconciliation through education as established in the Final Report on Truth and Reconciliation.
