To mark the G7’s 50th Anniversary and its 51st annual summit, Canada will host Leaders in Kananaskis, Alberta, set against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
Ahead of the Summit, the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary and the G7 Research Group, along with presenting sponsor Dentons Canada, will convene a one-day conference, bringing together leading voices from academia, government and business.
Panelists will examine the G7’s past performance and future priorities, focusing on global security, critical minerals, energy transition and emerging technologies like AI and quantum computing. The conference will feature keynote addresses from influential G7 figures, with participants’ insights and recommendations passed on to Summit organizers to help shape the Leaders’ agenda.
