Higher Learning: Empowering Cannabis Harm Reduction through Digital Storytelling
Hosted by the University of Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine (CSM), Science in the Cinema brings together science and popular culture in a fun and engaging way.
Join us for a special screening featuring a series of powerful short films created by young adults for young adults. Sharing their real-life experiences of cannabis use, these digital stories highlight strategies for safer use, reducing stigma, and making informed choices.
Following the screening, a panel of University of Calgary experts and youth advocates will explore key themes from the stories, including harm reduction strategies for young people, guidance for parents and caregivers, and approaches to fostering open, non-judgmental conversations.
