Insights into Sustainable Smart Cities by Prof. Vicente Carabias

As co-directors of the Schulich Momentum Chair on Sustainable Future, we are pleased to extend an invitation to you for an upcoming seminar that promises to be both insightful and transformative. Prof. Vicente Carabias from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the City of Winterthur, Switzerland will be sharing his extensive expertise and innovative approaches towards the development of Sustainable Smart Cities and Regions. This event on March 27 presents a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how cities and municipalities can evolve into smart sustainable ecosystems through the intelligent networking of infrastructures, the adoption of modern technologies, social innovation, and comprehensive transformation management.

The seminar will be followed by a brainstorming workshop on March 28, designed to explore opportunities for research partnerships in areas of mutual interest, as well as options for staff and students' mobility, joint education and training programs.
