Critically Engaged, Complexity-Informed, Courageous, and Honest Climate Education
(online workshop)

Date and time: February 2, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. MT (online workshop)

For UCalgary faculty and staff, Dr. Andreotti is facilitating a customized workshop where participants will take a deeper dive into the teachings from the Moving with Storms Webinar and learn ways to apply these teachings to their course curriculum and/or daily work. Participants will also explore the pedagogical design principles of the University of Victoria’s Continuing Education Course, Facing Human Wrongs 2.0: Climate Complexity and Relational Accountability. The course expands on the invitations of the book "Hospicing Modernity: Facing Humanity’s Wrongs and the Implications for Social Activism" and the work of the Gesturing Towards Decolonial Futures Collectiveand invites participants to "dig deeper and relate wider" in a life-long and life-wide inquiry about how we can show up for each other and for the planet differently in these challenging times.
