Schulich School of Engineering Indigenous Film Screening
In honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation/Orange Shirt Day, join the Schulich School of Engineering for a free film screening of Indian Horse on September 27. Directed by Stephen Campanelli, the film is an adaptation of Richard Wagamese’s award-winning novel.
Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity to create awareness of Residential Schools and honour the individuals, families and communities who were, and still are, impacted.
This film portrays the experience of a young boy taken from his Ojibway family and committed to a Catholic Residential School in 1950s Canada.
