As an educator at the University of Calgary, you are bound to become stressed. Over time, if that stress becomes chronic, you will be at risk for burnout. To mitigate the risk and increase your resilience, it’s best to be proactive. You can start with your mind because, as it turns out, it’s how you think about that stress that shapes whether you freak out, check out, burn out or rock out.

Psychologist Dr. Sharon Grossman, PhD, a.k.a. the Burnout Doc, brings her expertise and clinical experience to the stage. With this keynote, participants will learn how to transform their mindset about stress, feel empowered when facing adversity and leverage stress to their advantage.
