About the film
Robot & Frank tells the story of Frank, a retired man with a colourful history, living alone in his own home until his son brings him a live-in caregiving robot. Initially annoyed by this new companion, Frank soon discovers that it can be trained to help with useful tasks, reconnecting him with the life he once led.

After the movie, experts and researchers will lead the audience in a discussion and Q & A about developments in humanoid robotics and the roles that assistive care robots may play in the future of caring for an aging population.
