Elders Teaching Series: Dr. Betty Bastien

Join ii’ taa’poh’to’p, UCalgary’s Indigenous Strategy, to hear traditional knowledge, worldview, and language, and approaches to healing with respect to cultural wellbeing, intergenerational trauma, and Indigenous ways of knowing, doing, connecting, and being. This series will welcome Elders living in the Treaty 7 region of southern Alberta and will be hosted by Elissa Twoyoungmen, UCalgary’s Indigenous Cultural Education and Protocol Specialist.

This event will be moderated by Gabrielle Lindstrom, Educational Development Consultant, Indigenous ways of knowing, at the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, and will welcome speaker Betty Bastien.
