Craft Beer in Calgary: How the scene is brewing

Calgary has one of the highest concentrations of craft brewing operations in the country, but that wasn’t so a decade ago. Changes in policy and regulations have encouraged an explosion of new businesses and products on tap, and with our can-do, entrepreneurial spirit these changes have given rise to some great stories – and great beers. Join us as we explore the story of the brewing scene in Calgary: what happened to make it so successful, and what do industry players have to say about their experiences?

So, grab a pint of your favourite local brew and join us for this discussion of how rule and policy changes can support innovation and growth, how Calgary has established itself as a major player in the brewery sector, and made it possible for you to crack that cold one.
