31st Annual Conference - Canadian Resource and Environmental Economics Association

We are excited to announce the program for the 31st Annual CREEA | ACERE Fall Conference, which you can find below. We had hoped to run the conference in person, with a virtual option for participants unable to physically attend, and we were encouraged by the strong interest for an in-person component among those who submitted abstracts. Unfortunately, in response to persisting uncertainties and challenges with the pandemic, we recently had to revise our plan and move the 2021 CREEA | ACERE Conference completely online. The format of the conference will mimic the in-person format, but there will inevitably be fewer opportunities to mingle and socialize in between sessions. To account for different time zones, we will start the sessions later than we typically would at the in-person venue: 10:30 a.m. (EDT) on October 1st and 11:00 a.m. (EDT), following the annual CREEA | ACERE run, on October 2nd.

Conference registration is free, and we particularly encourage and welcome graduate students’ participation. Please register as soon as possible to receive information for joining the conference on the Zoom platform and allow us to better plan for the dinner event.
