Dr. Lianne Tomfohr-Madsen, PhD, is a registered psychologist, an associate professor in the Department of Psychology and an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Calgary. Lianne’s research areas include risk and resilience factors for the development of mental and physical health problems, with a particular focus on the transition to parenthood. She has a long history of practising and researching contemplative practices such as mindfulness and self-compassion.
