Meet Our Speakers

Jocelyn Spurr, Talent Development Consultant, Talent Management, HR University of Calgary is passionate about employee development; exploring self-awareness and working with people on finding a supportive and engaging job fit.  We all spend so much of time at work and it ought to be in an organization that is respectful, aligns with our interests and showcases our strengths and experiences.  Jocelyn has over 27 years of broad-based business experience ranging from training and development, career development, administration, logistics management to international projects.  Currently, Jocelyn works with the Training and Development team in Human Resources at the University of Calgary.  Her career with the University began in 2006 at the Haskayne School of Business as a Career Consultant working with undergraduates and MBA students.  Over the years, Jocelyn has worked with staff, students and faculty across campus. In addition to facilitating workshops for employees, managers and leaders in the area of personal and professional development,  Jocelyn in a facilitator for the UCalgary Respect in the Workplace program.
