Inclusive Teaching and Learning

As part of the Diversity Lunch and Learn series, this session’s discussion will explore what it means to foster an inclusive, equitable and accessible learning environment in classrooms. 

This interactive session provides participants with the space and time to:

  • Reflect on your experiences related to inclusivity in the classroom
  • Identify key issues, challenges and opportunities that arise in today’s diverse classrooms
  • Discuss practical strategies for promoting and maintaining an open and inclusive learning environment

Speaker:
Dr. Carol Berenson, PhD, Educational Development Consultant, Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning

Carol brings a background in sociology, philosophy and women’s studies to her role in educational development.  Her current research focuses on equity, diversity and inclusion in the classroom and in the context of educational development.


This event is a lunch and learn hosted by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Protected Disclosure. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch to the event. Light refreshments will be provided
