As part of the Diversity Lunch and Learn series, this session’s discussion will explore issues that impact international students’ career prospects. The speakers will focus on approaches and practices that support the career success of international students in our campus community.

Speakers:

  • Liliana Gonzalez, UCalgary Career Services
    Liliana brings her bilingual and multicultural background to her work as an International Career Development Specialist with UCalgary Career Services, helping international undergraduate, master’s and PhD students to achieve career success.  . Liliana has over 10 years of experience providing specialized support to students at the University of Calgary.

  • Devika Pandey, UCalgary Career Services
    Devika is the Program Coordinator, for the Digital Skills for Youth program at Career Services. In her role, Devika works with small and medium sized businesses in the Calgary community to create digital opportunities for recently graduated youths. She has been an international student herself, and brings diverse experiences to this session.

This event is a lunch and learn hosted by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Protected Disclosure. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch to the event. Light refreshments will be provided.
