Evolution has taught us that if there is something difficult that must be done, humans are far more likely to be successful when we do it together. So why is working together as a team so difficult?

The problem is that we often only THINK we’re working as a team, when in fact we’re just a bunch of people in the same room, having meetings about the same thing, which is simply not enough to engage the teamwork superpowers that allow us to make extraordinary things happen. Not to mention that working groups are generally kind of dull, and getting results becomes a LOT more fun when we are part of a great team!

This talk gives fresh insight in to common teamwork challenges, and provides several cutting edge humanistic tools for overcoming those challenges. These include understanding the basic ‘neuroscience’ of great teamwork and how to cultivate it, and also provides key skills for dealing with common teamwork challenges, such as trust, conflict, power dynamics and of course – getting results!

Bring your teamwork frustrations and curiosities to this talk to gain insights and confidence in understanding what goes into engaging the superpowers that true teamwork can bring to your organization’s goals.
