Leibniz Lecture: Turning boron chemistry on its head

University of Calgary International and the German Research Foundation (DFG) are pleased to invite you to a lecture from the prestigious Leibniz prize-winner Prof. Dr. Holger Braunschweig.

Date: Thursday, May 4

Time: 12 - 2 p.m.

Place: Senate Room, (7th floor) Hotel Alma, University of Calgary Main Campus

Dr. Braunschweig's lecture is entitled "Turning boron chemistry on its head: The unusual chemistry of boron in low oxidation states" and will discuss new synthetic strategies to overcome the inherent electron deficiency of boron.

Entrance to this event is free and lunch will be provided. Public parking is available in the Arts Parkade.
