Walking Tour
Grab your colleagues and a map, and take a stroll around main campus to visit the 21 Then and Now displays.
Created by the Faculty of Environmental Design the Then and Now installations pair archival photos with story snippets of what once happened in each selected location.
For example, in MacHall you’ll see where there once was the Barber Shop and Bowling Alley. Outside the Gallagher Library, in the Science complex, you’ll see a photo of what that space looked like when it was first opened.
Take a selfie at some of the locations, share it on Twitter using #ucalgary50, and you could win some coveted 50th Anniversary swag.
